This customer had a large fleet of printer copiers from several suppliers with poor service and a lack of proactive account management, meaning the wrong products were being used for their specific applications, resulting in a lot of outsourced work to cope with demand. This also created a lot of wastage, due to minimum order quantities being required.

They also had no visibility or cost control on users making it very difficult for their finance officer to chargeback to departments.

IOS assessed every department to better understand their actual needs and requirements.

We then replaced their entire fleet with various Xerox devices and also supplied production machines to the highest volume area, which had previously struggled with a lower specification and inadequate device.

After completing phase one we then installed a full print management system, to provide secure print & scan services and user analytics.

The customer now has one supplier, with proactive services and account management.

In addition, the production machines installed are now producing all large documents, including that which was previously outsourced. They can now print on demand, in the right quantities required, with no wastage.

Utilising the Print Management Software they now have full user tracking and reporting to the finance officer which also includes the follow me print facility and the ability to charge back to departments.

Significant savings have been made through improving the production facilities so they can print on demand and eliminate wastage.
