Integrated Office Systems – Digital Solutions Support Technician – £36k Per Annum

We’re on the hunt for a proactive, innovative Digital Solutions Support Technician to join our Managed IT Solutions & Services Team in Teesside. If you’re a problem-solving, multitasking, technical professional with a knack for analytical thinking, we want to hear from you!

Your mission? Involves conducting audits and discovery exercises at client locations, installing and configuring hardware, software, and infrastructure ensuring clients are legal, safe and compliant! Key Responsibilities: 

  • Azure Infrastructure Management: You will configure, manage, and maintain Azure resources and services, not only internally but also for our clients and monitor, optimise Azure performance and costs.
  • Intune Environment Management: You will set up and manage Microsoft Intune for device and application management. You will also ensure compliance with security standards and best practices.
  • Audit and Discovery Exercises: You will conduct initial and regular audits of client IT environments, with one of the IT account managers. This will Include providing detailed reports and recommendations based on findings.
  • Technical Support: You will provide technical support for all IT related issues, including troubleshooting and resolving hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Client Engagement: You will work closely with clients to understand their IT needs and provide tailored solutions. This may include conducting training sessions on Azure, Intune, and other IT services.
  • Reporting: You will create and maintain accurate reports of IT configurations, policies, and procedures. Also generate regular reports on system performance and support activities.

In addition, you will take care of:

  • Continuous Self-Improvement:Engage in continuous learning and self-improvement. Staying current with emerging technologies and industry trends.
  • Remote Site Support:Provide remote support to client sites, ensuring seamless IT operations. Assist with the installation and configuration of equipment at remote sites.
  • Documentation:Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for all IT systems and processes. Develop user guides and training materials.

What You’ll Bring to the Table:

  • Education: Degree or equivalent experience in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g. Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, Microsoft Certified: Intune are preferred).
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT support, with a focus on Azure and Intune/Endpoint management.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of Azure infrastructure and Intune environment management.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to conduct detailed audits and discovery exercises. Familiarity with managed service environments (MSP).
  • Key Competencies: Technical expertise, attention to detail, customer focus, adaptability, and collaboration.
  • Essential Requirements: Full clean UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
